Gemma arterton
Gemma Christina Arterton is an English actress known for her performances in movies like 'Quantum of Solace', 'The Reappearance of Alice Creed' and 'Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters'. She was born at Gravesend located in Greater London. After studying in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and a few years of professional work, she made her debut with a role as supporting actress in the comedy 'St. Trinian's'. After that, she appeared in "Quantum of Solace" which was a James Bond spy thriller. It was a commercial success and was generally praised. She was then the main female role in the fantasy action movie "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time". More recently, she played an important role in the French film 'Orphan'. Arterton was nominated for many awards in her professional career. The award she won was the "Empire Award for the Best Newcomer" for her performance in the film "Quantum of Solitude" and also an "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for her role in the musical"Made in Dagenham". Her award was with the Glamour Award for the Woman of the Year in 2011.
